WAUSAU — The Wisconsin Woodchucks have added two right-handed pitchers to the 2019 roster, the team announced today.

Bobby Nowak and Nolan Lebamoff will join the Woodchucks this summer. Both pitchers are freshman from Kankakee Community College in Illinois.

Bobby Nowak

Bobby Nowak, 6’3” and 195 pounds, is from Cedar Lake, Indiana. So far this season, Nowak pitched 19.1 innings in four games started and had 29 strikeouts with a 2.79 ERA. He has sharp off speed pitches and is looking to establish himself as a top rotation starter for the Cavaliers in his freshman campaign.

Nolan Lebamoff

Nolan Lebamoff, 6’3” and 205 pounds, is from Naperville, Illinois, and will bring his side arm slinging action to the Woodchucks. Lebamoff has pitched seven innings with 10 strikeouts this season. He has 3.86 ERA.

The Woodchucks 2019 home opener is June 1. Single game tickets will go on in April.
