ASPIRUS — Aspirus will host a free advance care program from 5:30 – 7 p.m. April 16 at Bull Falls Brewery, 901 E. Thomas St, Wausau.
Brewing the Conversation – About Advance Care Planning is an event that encourages you to begin having conversations about your health care wishes in a relaxed atmosphere. It is a process of understanding, reflecting on and discussing future medical decisions, including end-of-life preferences. Advance directives can be completed by anyone older than 18 and should be updated when choices for health care change.
The conversation will be centered around reflecting on experiences, values and beliefs. We will discuss how to get help with a written advance directive; and you will be able to register for one-on-one help. Advanced registration is requested. Refreshments and snacks will be available.
