WAUSAU – The Wisconsin Woodchucks have signed Nolan Soliveres from Webber International University and Zack Haupt from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point to the roster.

According to the Chucks:

Nolan Soliveres

Soliveres, 6’0” and 180 pounds, is a junior from Webber International University. He grew up in Paris, France, and attended Bellevue de Toulouse. Soliveres has 17 RBIs, four doubles, two triples and two home runs so far this season at Webber. He has a .518 slugging percentage and a .400 on-base percentage.

Zack Haupt

Haupt, a 6’9” 250-pound sophomore from UW-Stevens Point, will join the pitching rotation. Haupt attended San Dieguito Academy for high school and holds the record for lowest ERA in school history. Currently, Haupt has a 0.82 ERA with 10 strikeouts in 11 innings pitched this season. He has a 1-0 record and one save. He is originally from Carlsbad, California.

The Woodchucks 2019 home opener is June 1.
