SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. — The woman killed Thursday afternoon in a Shawano County crash has been identified as 46-year-old Laura Prahl, of Gresham.
The crash was reported at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Hwy. 29 and CTH U, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department.
A preliminary investigation shows Prahl was traveling north on CTH U when she entered the path of a westbound semi tractor trailer on Hwy. 29. Prahl, whose vehicle was struck on the passenger side, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
The driver of the semi was not injured in the crash, which remains under investigation.
