Kenosha — The No. 6-ranked D.C. Everest Evergreens got three goals from Maddie Simpson and another from Maria Esker to defeat Kenosha Tremper 4-0 Friday.

After a scoreless inital 40 minutes, Everest got a flurry of Simpson goals to take a commanding lead. Meghan Heil assisted on the first one in the 41st minute to make it 1-0, and Simpson quickly added another three minutes later on an Elle Hersperger assist to make it 2-0 at halftime.

It only took three more minutes after the half for Simpson to get an unassisted goal to make it 3-0.  That score held until the 87th, when Esker got the final goal off a Dakota Corallo assist.

Goalkeeper Sonja Budleski had 4 saves for Everest, which is now 3-0 for the year.
