TOWN OF HARRISON, Wis. — Police have identified the man who died in an early morning rollover crash in Lincoln County as 28-year-old Wayne Allen Millron, of Rhinelander.

The crash was reported just before 3 a.m. on Hwy. 17 at CTH D in the town of Harrison.

Preliminary information suggests that a southbound vehicle on Hwy. 17 left the roadway and rolled over, ejecting the driver and one passenger from the vehicle, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

Millron, who was allegedly driving the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger, an 18-year-old Rhinelander man, was transported to Ascension St. Mary’s Hospital in Rhinelander. He was later taken to the trauma center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital where he is in critical condition as of Sunday evening..

A third passenger, an 18-year-oldTomahawk man, received treatment at the scene but declined medical transport.

Deputies believe alcohol was a factor in the crash but are awaiting standard test results, according to sheriff’s officials. The Wisconsin State Patrol is reconstructing the crash.

The names of the two passengers in the vehicle were not released.
