WAUSAU —Good News Project will partner with the city of Wausau for the Spring Clean It Up event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 26 and April 27 at the city’s yard waste site on Myron Street.
The e-cycling program will accept non-working and no-longer-needed electronics at a cost of 40 cents per pound. (If your TV or monitor is disassembled or out of the original housing, the cost will be higher.) A portion of the fees will benefit Good News Project.
The Health Equipment Lending Program, operated by Good News, also will accept donations of gently used home medical equipment. Wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, commodes and hospital beds are examples of the items that will be accepted. A donation receipt is available upon request.
