WESTON — D.C. Everest Senior High School coach and teach Brad Seeley will run 200 laps at Stiehm Stadium to raise awareness of food pantry needs at the school in early June.

On Track to Pack the Pantry will begin at noon June 4 at Stiehm Stadium.

Seeley estimates his run will take about eight hours to complete. Community members are invited to join, for free, on the track anytime between noon and 8 p.m.

Contributions of non-perishable food items and monetary donations will be accepted at the event. Food pantry donations also are accepted year-round at the D.C. Everest Senior High School office.

A silent auction also will be held May 1 to May 10.

Getting started

On Track to Pack the Pantry came about as part of a school project for Isaiah Winowiski and Herbie Richardson. They wanted to create something to positively impact Everest families in need.
