WAUSAU — An 18-year-old Wausau woman is accused of bringing her 1-month-old child with her when she sold methamphetamine to a confidential informant.

Chloe Lorbecke appeared Monday, April 16 in Marathon County Circuit Court for an initial appearance on charges of manufacturing or delivering amphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of drug paraphernalia, child neglect, and bail jumping. Circuit Judge Jill Falstad ordered Lorbecke held on a $2,500 bond with the first $250 to be paid in cash.

Police say Lorbecke sold methamphetamine March 29 to a confidential informant. A search of her home revealed methamphetamine stuffed inside a baby formula container along with a journal that allegedly details drug transactions.

Falstad also ordered Lorbecke not to have any contact with her child unless it is approved by the Department of Social Services.

A bail/bond forfeiture hearing is set for April 22. Court records show Lorbecke was already out on bond connected to a misdemeanor obstruction case filed in February at the time of her arrest.
