Stevens Point– After falling behind 2-1 in the fourth inning of their Wisconsin Valley Conference tilt against D.C. Everest on Tuesday, the SPASH Panthers fought back to tie it up in the final inning of regulation and pushed across one run in the ninth to earn a hard-fought 3-2 victory.

SPASH got two hits from Jenna Eilers and tallied seven hits as a team against Everest pitcher Megan Wilde.

Wilde took the loss in a complete game performance in which she struck out three batters and allowed just one earned run.

Meanwhile, Jaden Jones threw a complete game for SPASH, striking out 13 batters and allowing just four hits to pick up the win.

Grace Steinagel had three of Everest’s four hits.
