A Green Alert for a missing veteran has been cancelled after the woman was found safe.

McCaughey has been located and is in contact with the person who reported her missing, according to an update from the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network.

No additional details were released.

A Green Alert has been issued for 30-year-old Aimee Marie McCaughey, a veteran who was last seen Monday in Eau Claire.

Police say McCaughey suffers from PTSD/depression, and it is unknown if she is taking her prescribed medication.

McCaughey is described as is 5 feet, 7 inches tall weighing 130 pounds with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a gray zip-up jacket and gray sweatpants.

Police say the missing woman was last seen driving a 2014 white Jeep Cherokee with Wisconsin license plate ABY8750. Officials say McCaughey has not made any specific threats but has a history of self harm.

According to the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network, McCaughey’s phone has been turned off. She is currently homeless but could be in the Bloomer or Augusta areas.
