WAUSAU — Healthfirst Network Inc. will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the organization’s new location.

This event, at 4:15 p.m. May 2, is open to the public and will be held at 216 South Third Ave. An open house will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests will be treated to appetizers and desserts, a Healthfirst gift bag and tour.

“Healthfirst is very excited to have moved locations in Wausau,” said Jessica Scharfenberg, executive director of Healthfirst, in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “This new location will create increased accessibility for community members, as well as being closer to other community resources that clients may utilize.”

Healthfirst is open Monday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Healthfirst is a nonprofit reproductive health clinic serving eight counties in central Wisconsin.
