Marshfield edges Wausau West girls soccer

Wausau– The Marshfield Tigers scored a goal in the second half of their tilt against Wausau West on Thursday, and that proved to be the difference as West fell by the final score of 1-0.

Ana Paape knocked home the goal for Marshfield.

Shots on goal were even– each team had eight.

Mikayla Brueggen recorded eight saves, while Adrianna Wilke of West had seven.

Marshfield improves ot 4-5-1 overall and 2-3-1 in the Valley, while West falls to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play.
