WAUSAU — Two people were injured Monday afternoon when a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a home near downtown Wausau, officials said.

The two-car crash happened at the corner of Sixth and McClellan Streets in Wausau.

Officials say one driver’s vehicle was struck while turning west onto McClellan Street. That vehicle then crashed into the home.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and the home was damaged as a result of the crash. Police have not said if any citations have been issued.

No names were released.
