Wausau Events has released their lineup for the celebrated Concerts on the Square series, with an expanded schedule kicking off June 5.

This year marks the 26th anniversary of the series, with Wednesday concerts from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for 12 straight weeks, up from 10 last year. Thousands of people typically attend the free shows, which are held on The 400 Block, Wausau’s downtown park.

June 12: Brass Differential

June 19: Unity

June 26: The Dang-Its

July 3: Julyda

July 10: Johnny & the MoTones

July 17: Kari Lynch

July 24: Copper Box

July 31: Chicken Wire Empire

Aug. 7: Ian Ash Band

Aug. 14: Tallymore

Aug. 21: Brett Newski & the No Tomorrow

Wausau Events, which coordinates the weekly concerts and chose the entertainment this year, is reminding concert-goers that no smoking is allowed on The 400 Block during such events. No pets are allowed. Tents are large tables are also prohibited.

Carry-ins are welcome, including alcohol, but alcoholic beverages must remain within the confines of the park.
