WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
A planned detour for Thomas Street will begin Tuesday, May 7 as construction begins on a planned road project for a portion of the roadway.
Starting Tuesday Thomas Street will be closed from River Drive to South Fourth Avenue. River Drive and South Fourth Avenue intersections will remain open, as well as the Emter Street crossing over Thomas Street.
Work is anticipated to be completed in November.
Construction will also be taking place on a portion of South First Avenue this summer.
