WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
A bicyclist was injured Monday in a hit-and-run crash on Wausau’s west side.
The crash was reported at about 8:05 p.m. at 1002 Chellis Street, near South 10th Avenue.
Unconfirmed scanner traffic indicates the bicyclist, a male, suffered a head injury in the crash and the driver of an SUV that struck the victim fled the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained at large as of 8:20 p.m. Monday.
The victim’s name and age were not specified.
