A Wisconsin Rapids woman won more than $38,000 in prizes when she appeared on the popular game show, “The Price is Right.”
The episode featuring Gail Rice aired Monday on WSAW, Wausau’s CBS affiliate.
Rice wound up on stage with host Drew Carey by bidding on a set of luggage, then won a trip to Italy during the “Bonus Game.” But the biggest win for Rice happened when she spun .85 cents on the big wheel, getting her into the Showcase Showdown.
In the Showdown, Rice bid on a trip to Texas and a Nissan Versa, and won.
WSAW reports Rice, who has been watching the show for decades, was given tickets to the show on her 70th birthday as a surprise from her son.
