STEVENS POINT — The Central Wisconsin Jazz Ensemble will perform “Midwest Jazz,” featuring works by regional composers and arrangers at 7:30 p.m. May 17 in Michelsen Hall at the Noel Fine Arts Center, UW-Stevens Point campus.
The SPASH high school jazz band will open the concert under the direction of Brad Schmidt.
The jazz ensemble will feature a variety of pieces written by composers based in Appleton, Madison, Chicago and Minneapolis, including several works by ensemble members.
