SPASH slams Everest

Weston– After falling down 2-1 in the first inning of their Wisconsin Valley Conference tilt against D.C. Everest on Friday night, SPASH erupted for 10 runs in the middle innings and cruised to a 13-5 win.

Leah Earnest hit a home run and a double to lead the Panthers.  Sam Saloun, Megan Miklesh and Maddie Kvatek also doubled.

Earnest was 3-4 with three RBI, while Berkley Lake, Kayla Lass and Miklesh each had three hits as well.

Jaden Jones started the game for SPASH and tossed five innings to pick up the win.  Jaelyn Slowinski tossed the final two innings.

Everest got a home run and double from Haley Larson, who was 2-3.  Megan Wilde suffered the loss for the Evergreens.
