ST. GERMAIN, Wis. — Police have identified the victim in a weekend crash as 49-year-old Scott Weber, of Sayner.
According to the Vilas County Sheriff’s Department, crews were called at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, May 14 to Hwy. 155 at 16 road for a report of a crash.
A preliminary investigation suggests Weber was traveling north when he crossed the center line, traveled into the ditch and struck a tree, police said. Weber, the driver and sole passenger of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No additional details have been released.
