Marshfield baseball too much for Wausau East

Wausau– Wausau East baseball was upended 15-1 on Tuesday afternoon by Marshfield.

The Tigers wasted no time putting up runs as they scored twice in the first inning and added three more in the third.  The Tigers put up five runs in the fourth and sixth innings, respectively.

East’s lone run came in the third.

Will Voss picked up the win on the mound for East, while Andrew Heinzen suffered the loss for the Lumberjacks.

Ryan Krueger was 4-5 with two doubles, a triple, three runs and two RBI for Marshfield.

Greg Glovinski drove in East’s lone run.

Marshfield improves to 12-10 overall and 6-3 Wisconsin Valley Conference. Wausau East falls to 7-6 overall and 3-6 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference.
