WAUSAU —The Woodson YMCA will host a coach bus trip to the Nicolet Bank Tall Ships Festival in Green Bay on July 26.
In addition to the eight replicas of historic ships, the world’s largest rubber duck will be docked at the Port of Green Bay. There will be an opportunity to tour the ships, talk to the crew and learn the history of each ship. There also will be entertainment throughout the day, art displays, souvenir stands and food vendors.
On the way home, the bus will stop at The Harvest Restaurant in Wittenberg for a buffet dinner and tour of the Walls of Wittenberg.
The bus leaves the Y at 8:30 a.m. and returns at about 8 p.m. The cost for the trip is $85 for members and $90 for non-members. The fee includes deluxe coach bus, entrance to park, buffet dinner and gratuities. Space is limited; register by June 15. You can register online or by calling the Y at 715-845-2177.
