Mosinee schools on lockdown after social media threat

MOSINEE, Wis. — Schools in Mosinee are on a “soft lockdown” Monday while investigators probe a threat posted on social media.

Officials have not said specifically what the post contained, but say they do not believe the threat was credible.

Investigators are working to trace the post and identify the person behind the threat. There are additional police officers on school grounds Monday.
