WAUSAU — A long-time employee of Revi Design is now the owner of the landscape design and construction firm, the company recently announced.

Ownership of Revi Design transferred from the founder, Jeff Nowak, to once design director Dave Sether on May 17.

Sether will serve as president, overseeing operations, in addition to continuing his role in the design department.  The company will retain its flagship name Revi Design and locations on Highway Z and its Design Studio in downtown Wausau.

Sether has 18 years of experience in the landscape design/construction field and has worked with Nowak since the company’s inception nine years ago. Revi will retain all current employees.

The Revi team will continue to concentrate on its reputation of providing innovative landscape design, landscape construction, maintenance services and large-scale snow removal, Revi said in a news release.

“While this business has been my passion for many years, it is time for me to move on and there is no better person to carry it forward than Dave,” Nowak said in the release. “I am certain that he will maintain the emphasis on Revi values, service and excellence within the community. Over the past couple months, Dave and I have worked closely together to ensure a successful transition.”

Sether’s plans remain true to the original vision of the company, to focus on creative landscape solutions and attention to detail.

“We will continue to ensure unparalleled care of Revi’s long-standing commercial and residential customers and will continue to offer the excellent service that Revi Design is known for,” Sether said. “We will continue to evolve as a company to offer new products and services with the highest level of customer service.”
