WAUSAU ? As a growing nationwide movement, locally grown food has a range of benefits to offer. More and more families are making the choice to buy food from local food producers, even if it’s just a portion of their weekly grocery supply – and area chefs are increasingly using locally grown foods in their menu selections.
At 10 a.m. May 23, Wisconsin Public Radio “Route 51” host Shereen Siewert welcomes Chef C of Stevens Point along with Central Rivers Farmshed Executive Director Layne Cozzolino to talk about the local food movement in central and northern Wisconsin.
