STEVENS POINT — The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program offers eligible people one set of vouchers to buy locally grown fresh produce (fruits, vegetables and herbs) at approved local farmers markets or road stands.
The 2019 vouchers are valid June 1 – Oct. 31 and are available on a first-come basis. Applicants must verify Portage County residency by providing a piece of current mail at the time of application. People ages 60 or older and Native Americans ages 55 or older, with household incomes at or below the following may be eligible.
