UPDATE: A missing Marathon County Jail inmate is back in custody, thanks to a tip from the public.
Police on Friday issued a news release asking for the public’s help locating a Marathon County Jail inmate who left the facility on work release and failed to return.
Jesse L. Brice, 39, was set to return to the jail May 30 after being released on the Huber program, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department. Brice has so far served two weeks on a nine-month sentence for retail theft charges.
