WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

The Wisconsin Woodchucks topped the Lakeshore Chinooks Thursday by a score of 1-0, with pitcher Myles Gayman pitching seven scoreless innings and striking out four batters.

Nate Stinson of the Woodchucks scored the sole run of the evening on a wild pitch thrown by Chinook starter Parker Coyne. Stinson had two singles and a double-saving catch in left field.

Myles Gayman went seven scoreless innings and was almost nonstoppable, striking out four.

The entire Woodchuck defense put in its best work of the season tonight thus far, turning two double plays and making a variety of hit saving catches.
