WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

The Green Bay Booyah defeated the Wisconsin Woodchucks in the first game of a two-game series by a score of 9-0, in Green Bay.

Beau Nichols started for the Woodchucks, and was perfect through three innings, striking out six. The Woodchucks then gave up runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings, giving the Booyah a lead they would not come back from.

Kenny Rodriguez and Alejandro Gonzalez added hits for the Chucks, but their offense couldn’t manage to score a run.

Top Performers

Zach Klapak reached base twice and pitched a 1-2-3 inning in the bottom of the 8th.

The Woodchucks will return home to face off against the Green Bay Booyah again in Wausau at Athletic Park on Saturday, June 8 with first pitch at 6:35 p.m.
