WAUSAU — Thomas Jefferson Elementary School teacher Sara Goldberg has received the Resolution of Commendation by the Board of Education for being named a 2019 Kohl Fellow through the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation, the Wausau School District announced in June.
“Sara Goldberg is an amazing educator who lights up the room with her infectious passion for education,” said Thomas Jefferson Elementary Principal Brent Johnson, who nominated Goldberg for the commendation. “She makes a difference every day in the lives of her students and goes above and beyond to help them achieve. We are so proud of Mrs. Goldberg for winning the Herb Kohl Teacher Fellowship. She is a tremendous asset to the Wausau School District.”
