WAUSAU — A Share Your Voice event to plan a statewide history museum will be held on June 12 at the Marathon County Historical Society’s Woodson Center in Wausau.
Attendees will learn about plans for a state-of-the-art, modern museum facility planned for Madison’s Capitol Square and contribute ideas for what aspects of central Wisconsin history and heritage should be shared in the new museum. This is an opportunity to share ideas for how a new museum can help connect residents in all Wisconsin’s 72 counties and provide suggestions and feedback on design concepts.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. The program begins at 6 p.m. in the lower level of the Woodson Center, 410 McIndoe St.
