WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
The city will offer nine “free swim” days at Wausau swimming pools in 2019, according to the city government Facebook page.
From 1 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. on Sat. June 22, swimming pool admission is free at all Wausau outdoor pools thanks to a sponsorship from Marshfield Clinic and Security Health Plan.
On Sundays beginning June 16, free swim days will rotate between all three Wausau pools, from 1 p.m. to 7:50 p.m. The complete schedule of free swim Sundays:
June 16: Schulenburg Pool
June 23: Kaiser Pool
June 30: Memorial Pool
July 7: Schulenburg Pool
July 14: Kaiser Pool
July 21: Memorial Pool
July 28, Schulenburg Pool
August 4: Kaiser Pool
In addition, from 6 to 7:50 p.m. each Thursday, admission to all Wausau swimming pools will be free.
Regular admission to Wausau outdoor pools is $3 for adults from 1-6 p.m. and $1.50 from 6-7:50 p.m.; and $2 for youth and for seniors from 1-6 p.m. and $1 from 6-7:50 p.m.. Admission is free for infants.
