New events added June 15: Marathon County Public Library activities

The Marathon County Public Library will host several events in the coming weeks at its various libraries.


Surprise dad or the other father figure in your life with a handmade Father’s Day card! All ages can make cards from June 15 at the Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley. Drop in any time the library is open throughout the week. All supplies provided. For more info, call 715-446-3537.

Adults can attend monthly crafting nights throughout the summer beginning on June 17 from 3-8 p.m. at the Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley. Come work on your own craft projects, trade ideas and socialize with others. Free. Future sessions to be held July 15 and Aug. 19. For more info, call 715-446-3537.


NEW! Kids can venture into outer space with a week of crafts at the Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley. From June 17-22, kids can stop in to the branch any time it’s open to make aliens out of cardboard tubes and torn paper planets out of variety of supplies. Free. Call 715-446-3537 for more info.

NEW! Join Jim Lenz as he infuses comedy, audience participation and science into his unique, zany and unforgettable show for kids!
