Community Based Mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Provide “Littles” with time and attention, 2-4 times per month. Casual weekly or bi-weekly outings help build positive relationships. Contact Beth at 715-848-7207 or bethk@bbbsncw.org.

Do you Enjoy Spending Time with Children? Help at the Wausau library on Wednesdays from 12:15 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Do activities with kids while parents are at their Lena Start program. Contact Emily for more information at 715 848-1457 or enowicki@chw.org.

Children’s Games Leader for Pool Party.  Marathon County Parks and Recreation is looking for several people (13 years old or older) to assist children with beanbag toss, limbo and other games on June 22 from 1-4 p.m. at the All-Pools Open House Party. Volunteers receive five free pool passes. Contact Karyn or Christian at 715-261-1550.

Career Closet Outfitter. United Way’s Emerging Leaders is looking for people who like to put together outfits and help others choose no-cost items for their interview or the first weeks on the new job. In-Kind Donated Items Needed

Rebecca’s Closet is Preparing for Winter. Cleaning out your children’s winter clothing in preparation for summer fun? Donate the following items: boots for school-aged kids, snow pants, jackets and waterproof mittens/gloves. Fans and Wall Clocks.  Residents of North Central Health Care appreciate cooling fans in the summer months. Clocks are needed, as well, for individual’s rooms. If you can donate, contact Kathy at 715 848 4450 or kdesantis@norcen.org.
