Bridge maintenance scheduled in Marathon, Portage counties

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation will be doing bridge maintenance on the following roads the weeks of June 17 and June 24:

Week of June 17

Highway 29

• Eastbound over Big Eau Pleine River, town of Holton

Highway 51/Interstate-39

• Southbound over Johnson Creek, town of Knowlton

Highway 10

• Eastbound over wetlands, town of Hull
• Over the Wisconsin River, town of Eau Pleine
• Eastbound over Tomorrow River, town of Amherst

Week of June 24

Highway 10

• Eastbound over CN Railroad, town of Amherst
• Eastbound over Lake Emily Road, town of Amherst
• Eastbound over Tomorrow River, town of Amherst

Single lane, daytime closures are necessary for crews to safely conduct patching and routine bridge maintenance from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Maintenance activities are dependent upon favorable weather conditions.
