WAUSAU – Wausau’s Downtown Employee Appreciation Week returns for its fourth year June 25 through June 29.

The week is a celebration of employees who work in downtown Wausau and features an activity every day, ranging from Wausau’s largest coffee break to a Woodchucks game.

“This week is organized by and for downtown employees as a way of saying thank you for making the Wausau River District your second home,” said Wausau River District executive director Blake Opal-Wahoske. “Our downtown would simply not have the vibrancy it does without these folks choosing to work here.”
