WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

ADAMS COUNTY – The Adams County Sheriff’s Department will stop sending divers to look for the body of a boy who went missing in the Wisconsin River Tuesday, according to a WJFW report.

Extensive diving efforts have been made in the search for Jamison Owen Dean Miller, 11, of Grand Marsh. Jamison was swept into river waters last week and police have so far used sonar units, rovers and other electronic devices to find the missing child.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team, Ft. McCoy Fire Department, Department of Natural Resources and Juneau County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the recovery efforts for Miller Friday and Saturday.

Bruce’s Legacy Search & Recovery also assisted with recovery efforts on Friday.
