“The cast is working endlessly to make this a phenomenal show for audiences and we are excited to bring these classic storybook characters to life in the musical with a twist,” said Nicole Stephens, the theater company’s manager, who also plays the witch in the production. “Into the Woods” is the third show and second musical for Out of the Woods Theatre and features 19 cast members, some of them local high school students, in various fairytale character roles – from Rapunzel to Snow White.

The story follows a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child, Cinderella, who wishes to attend the king’s festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. The musical follows each other their journeys and entwines them together with consequences and valuable lessons along the way.

“Into the Woods” is performed at 6:30 p.m. June 27 followed by another evening performance on June 28. Two shows will be held June 29, 1 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at www.showtix4u.com in advance for $14-22, or at the door for $2 more.
