WAUSAU – Jazz lovers rejoice! The Jazz on the River summer series begins July 7 along the Wisconsin River behind the Marathon County Public Library.
Free concerts are held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every week through Aug. 25. The Faith Hatch Quartet gets it all started on July 7 and the Tim Buchholz Octet wraps it up on Aug. 25. Concertgoers are encouraged to take their own chairs, beverages and picnics.
Series brainchild Denise Sauter and her team of local musicians have put together the lineup. Upcoming performances are:
