TOWN OF BIRCH, Wis. — A 24-year-old Kronenwetter woman was injured Sunday in an ATV rollover crash, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department
Police say the woman was riding about a mile off Turtle Lake Road in the town of Birch when she rolled her machine, pinning her beneath. First responders removed the woman from the woods and brought her to an area where the Spirit 2 medical helicopter was waiting.
Police say speed appeared to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation. The woman’s name was not released.
