WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

TOWN OF BRADLEY, Wis. — A 67-year-old man is dead following an ATV crash Monday, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

The Sheriff’s Department received a 911 call at 7:23 p.m. July 8 reporting the crash, which happened east of CTH E on Wadell Road in the town of Bradley. A preliminary investigation suggests the victim was traveling westbound on Wadell Road when he lost control, rolled multiple times and was ejected from the vehicle, police said.

The driver was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the driver, whose name has not been released, was not wearing a helmet and was the sole passenger of the vehicle. Speed appears to have been a factor in the crash, according to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department news release.

The name of the victim is expected to be released later in the day on Tuesday.
