Join the End Alzheimer’s Wausau Walk Committee! People with good communication skills and a drive to see the end of the disease are needed to serve in different capacities. Hurricane Recovery Service Trip. Good News Project has sent teams to Lumberton, North Carolina, to aid in recovery efforts for several years. Join the team Oct. 6-12 and help this community find hope again. A participation fee is tax deductible. Take part in tasks that include preparing houses for re-construction. Community Based Mentors for Big Brothers Big Sisters. Provide “Littles” with casual weekly or bi-weekly outings, filled with conversations and shared activities. 2019 Komen Central Wisconsin More Than Pink Walk Volunteers. There are various roles for volunteers for the Central Wisconsin More Than Pink Walk on Aug. 11 in downtown Wausau. Susan G.
