WAUSAU – River Valley Bank and IncredibleBank announced the promotion of Tim Parks, certified public accountant to vice president – finance and investment officer. Parks assumes these duties effective immediately.
Parks began his career in finance after graduating from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater with a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting and working for Wipfli in the financial institution audit and tax department. He joined River Valley Bank and IncredibleBank in 2009 as the finance manager. In 2017, Parks was promoted to assistant controller, a position he held for slightly more than two years. In his new position, he is responsible for the management and coordination of regulatory reporting, interest rate risk management, liquidity management and the day-to-day oversight of the bank’s $210 million security portfolio.
“Tim Parks has excelled in every position he has held during his decade long tenure at the bank,” said Todd Nagel, president and CEO, in a news release. “In fact, Tim has managed every aspect and every detail of each one of his roles and responsibilities with precision, passion and exacting detail; obviously, the characteristics you want in a vice president of a bank’s finance department.”
