WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
One person was injured Thursday in a crash at the intersection of Hwy. 97 and CTH L near Athens.
The head-on crash, between a vehicle and a dump truck, was reported at about 6:15 a.m. Preliminary scanner reports indicate a 24-year-old woman was injured in the crash.
A portion of Hwy. 97 remained closed as of 7:50 a.m. and was expected to reopen by about 8:30 a.m.
No names were immediately released.
