Kids can attend a summer craft day at the Edgar Branch, 224 S. Third Ave., Edgar, on July 29 from 1-7 p.m.! A different craft project will be offered each Monday throughout the summer. Free. For more info, call 715-352-3155.

Patrons of all ages are invited to make their very own magic wand – just like the one Harry Potter got from Ollivander’s Wand Shop – during a special craft event on July 31 from 3-4 p.m. at the Mosinee Branch, 123 Main St., Mosinee. Free. Call 715-693-2144 for more info.


Adults can learn how to use the social media site Pinterest during a free class on July 31 from 1-2:30 p.m. at the Hatley Branch, 435 Curtis Ave., Hatley. Kids can show off their creativity (and their kindness) by painting rocks on Aug. 1 from 4-7:30 p.m. at the Athens Branch, 221 Caroline St., Athens. Browse through thousands of items during the next Friends of MCPL Book Sale, happening Aug. 1-4 at the Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
