Walmart and The Salvation Army are joining forces to provide new school supplies to Marathon County students in need during the Stuff the Bus campaign event on Aug. 3 at both Wausau and Marshfield Walmart locations.
Part of a nationwide effort, the Stuff the Bus campaign in Wausau and Marshfield are two of nearly 3,000 similar events taking place at Walmart stores across the county. To participate, shoppers:
- Check in-store supply lists for needed supplies
- Purchase the supplies
- Drop them off in The Salvation Army collection bins at the front of each store.
The Salvation Army will be on-site Aug. 3, with bins remaining in stores for a limited time.
