STEVENS POINT — From a Stevens Point State University letter jacket to an older version of a stuffed Stevie Pointer, do you own a piece of history from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point?

Share your memorable object as part of the History Homecoming event from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 9 at University Archives in Room 520 Albertson Hall, 900 Reserve St., Stevens Point.

Every object tells a story, so take the item or a photo of it to share your university memories with members of UW-Stevens Point’s Historic Preservation Subcommittee and archive representatives.

Items could be chosen for temporary loan as part of a special 125th anniversary exhibit in the Noel Fine Arts Center’s Edna Carlsten Gallery. It will be offered as part of UW-Stevens Point’s Homecoming celebration this fall. Items will be returned after the exhibit.

For more information, contact Assistant Professor Cary Elza at 715-346-2189 or find the event on Facebook by searching “UWSP History Homecoming.”
