Aspirus Hospice Patient/Family Support (Home Care). Volunteers provide emotional support to patients and their families as they give respite to caregivers and read, walk or sit with patients. Contact Samantha at 715-847-2424 or [email protected].

Food Truck Drivers for The Neighbors’ Place. Drivers needed to help with food pickups both in and out of town for the food pantry. Valid driver’s license and the ability to lift and carry items may be required. A flexible schedule helpful, as donations can sometimes be sporadic. Friendly Visitor Volunteer. Spend time with people receiving Heartland Hospice services in Wausau and surrounding communities. Activities include reading to patients, playing cards, going on walks, helping with errands or reminiscing about days gone by. Visit schedule is set by the volunteer and is very flexible. Summer Volunteers at Boys and Girls Club. Volunteers mentor, engage and build supportive relationships with club members, help supervise club spaces (art room, learning center, gym, skate park, games room), assist with program activities, chaperone field trips and more.
