WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW
NEWS RELEASE — Ascension is pleased to welcome board certified Pediatrician Lynnette Valentijn, M.D., to Ascension Medical Group at Weston, located at 3301 Cranberry Boulevard on the campus of Ascension St. Clare’s Hospital.
Dr. Valentijn has 30 years of experience in providing preventive and acute pediatric care to infants, children and teenagers with an interest in helping special needs patients.
She earned her medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio, Toledo and completed a pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Detroit. She was born in Wausau and grew up in Dousman, Wisconsin.
“I like to build strong relationships with my patients and their families and enjoy watching them grow and help them along the way,” said Dr. Valentijn.
In her spare time, Dr. Valentijn enjoys gardening and traveling and plays the French horn. She has three grown children who work as a pediatrician, cyber-security engineer and a veterinarian in training.
